Biographical material, correspondence, writings, photographs, and printed material documenting the career of artist Nancy Goldring.
Biographical material consists of photographs, scrapbooks, and yearbooks from Goldring's youth. Correspondence is both personal and professional between fellow artists and writers, including Leo Steinberg, Lawrence Alloway, Sylvia Sleigh, and Robert Lax and others. Writings include journals, diaries, lectures, and articles by and about Goldring. Photographs are of Goldring as a student, a young artist, at openings in Italy and New York, and on her travels. Printed material consists of announcements, clippings, posters, and catalogs.
