Writings, subject files, personal business records, and photographs documenting the early work of artist Matt Mullican.
Writings include diaries, journals, and notebooks containing ideas for work, drawings in colored pen or pencil, and description of daily events, concerns, and problems. Subject files document Mullican's public and corporate commissions in U.S. and Europe and contain lists, correspondence, drawings, maps and blueprints, some large in scale. Personal business records include tax information, information about Mullican's residences, and business cards. Also included is estate information about Mullican's father, artist Lee Mullican. Photographs include installation shots of Mulican's early work and exhibitions.
