Cecilia Beaux (1855-1942) was a painter and art instructor from Philadelphia, Pa. Born in Philadelphia in May 1855; died in Sept. 1942. Beaux studied in Europe and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, where she later taught.
Microfilmed from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts archives in 1985. Additional family and Beaux memorabilia related to Beaux at the PAFA was not microfilmed.
