Thomas & Sons, Philadelphia, Nov. 18, 1862; a pamphlet, ca. 1862, "Portrait of Washington" containing letters addressed to Peale as testimonials of Peale's "port-hole" portrait of Washington, painted in 1823; and two circulars, ca. 1830, announcing for public subscription new engravings, enlarged and altered, of the portrait.
