A warrant, Sept. 19, 1777, to John Henderson from Benjamin Flower, Commanding General, appointing Henderson as superintendent for all painting and drawing required by the service; papers and bills regarding decorative and other paintings for Army and others during Revolution, 1777-1782; and an order for linseed oil for Army use, Nov. 3, 1778, from Jonathan Gostelowe to Henderson.
