A letter to Mr. C. [Charles] W. Cranmer, a friend of Thomas Eakins, which responds to Cranmer's query regarding Thomas Eakins' portrait of Professor Barker, and places in context the two photographs of Thomas Eakins enclosed. One of the photos was donated with the letter.
