REEL N738 (fr. 93-122): Photographs, 1900-1924, of: annual dinners (1900, 1915); Salmagundi Club dinners in honor of W. Granville Smith (1914), Daniel Garber (1917), and Ivan Olinksy (1920), each hosted by Samuel T. Shaw and inscribed to Charles C. Curran from Shaw; of the 1924 annual exhibition jury (?), including Curran, Henry Watrous, Emil Carlsen, Robert Aitken, Edwin Blashfield, and William S. Robinson.
REELS 798-799: Handwritten transcriptions of minute books of treasurers' reports, meetings of members and committees of the Academy and other institutions, associations and societies. The transcribing, done by Academician George W. Maynard, omits portions of the original minutes.
REEL 3161: Ledger of the accounts of the Trustees of the National Academy of Design, "Trust No. 2," 1854-1860. The trustees were Jonathon Sturgis, Charles M. Leupp, Francis W. Edmonds, Asher B. Durand, and Thomas S. Cummings.
REEL 5051: Student Register of the Antique School, 1826-1892, and the Life School, 1835-1897.

Biography Note:
Fine arts museum, society of artists, and art school; New York, New York. Founded in 1825.
Provenance:
Photographs and memorabilia on reel N738 were lent for microfilming by the NAD in 1968. The microfilm of the transcripts of minute books (reels 798-799) were made available to AAA by the NAD via art historian Lois Fink in 1974. The actual volumes of transcripts, and the original volumes of the minutes from which the transcripts were made, are at the NAD. The ledger book on reel 3161 was donated 1979 by Warder Cadbury of the Adirondack Museum; it is unclear how Cadbury acquired the ledger. The Student Register on reel 5051 was lent for microfilming by the NAD in 1996.
