Correspondence, printed material, photographs, writings, videos, and interview transcripts regarding Julian Stanczak. Three scrapbooks containing correspondence, clippings, certificates and awards, photographs, and publications. Also included is Stanczak's thesis presented at Yale University, 1956, "Spatial Relationships on the Two Dimensional Surface." VHS videos include an interview with Stanczak, "Julian Stanczak and Op Art: The Perspective Eye," conducted by Neil Rector, 2001; "Symphony in Color," Stanczak's 50 year retrospective exhibition installation filmed at the Cleveland Institute of Art, 2002; and a four-part video series regarding "Communicating in a Different Way," a series of interviews with Stanczak conducted by Neil Rector, 2000. Also included are transcripts of the interviews.
