Biography Note:
Painter; San Francisco, Calif. Born in Pullman, Washington. Studied art at Washington State University, at the Brooklyn Museum, and at the Los Angeles Art School. Committed suicide in 1971.

Donated 1980 by Mr. and Mrs. John B. Friels, John Matthew Friel's parents.
