Letter to A. I. Dill of the VIRGINIAN PILOT, August 3, 1948, critiquing an illustration of a sailing ship and including three sketches; and an issue (Winter 1979) of THE JOURNAL of the Mariners Museum, Newport News, Virginia containing a reproduction of a lithograph by Grant, "The Seine Boat."
