A 7 page autobiography; letters, undated and 1935-1981, mostly from Lockspeiser's daughter, Mary Frank, and grandchildren; Lockspeiser's passport; photographs, ca. 1918-1982, of Lockspeiser, her work and her family; slides; writings, undated and 1941-1952, some by Frank; two of Lockspeiser's sketchbooks, 1942 and 1953, in ink and in pencil, of the circus and of Provincetown, Massachusetts; photocopies of more circus sketches; report cards from school and from summer camp regarding Mary Frank, 1935-1947; printed matter including exhibition catalogs, announcements, press releases and clippings, for Lockspeiser, 1948-1983, and for Frank, 1961-1977; and a 1944 program for a testimonial dinner honoring Gregory Weinstein, Lockspeiser's father.

Biography Note:
Painter; born New York, N.Y. Studied with Max Weber, at the Louvre Print Room, and at the Slade School in London. Her daughter, Mary Frank, is also an artist.
Donated 1983 by Eleanor Lockspeiser. Additional printed material donated 1986 by her daughter, Mary Frank.
