A presentation by the Polynesian Voyaging Society about the iconic double-hulled canoe Hōkūle‘a and its Mālama Honua Worldwide Voyage, Nā Wahine O Ke Kai “Women of the Sea” is a panel discussion by women navigators about learning to wayfind and continuing the tradition of indigenous Hawaiian deep-sea exploration. The panelists include Kaʻiulani Murphy, Kalā Baybayan, Cesi Ha‘o and Dr. Linda Furuto, and it is moderated by Amy Kalili.
