Summary:
Handwritten account book kept by members of the Lusby family of Maryland. The volume mainly contains arithmetical notes and problems (e.g. converting currencies used by various states; long division; fractions; figuring up loans), and may have been used to teach members of the family or other pupils. Other subjects include a draft of a last will and testament, recipes for various remedies, payment receipts, and references to farm work and commerce.
