The National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) was created on November 18, 1989, when President George H.W. Bush signed an act allowing the transfer of the Museum of the American Indian into the Smithsonian to create NMAI.
Summary:
Color postcard to RSVP to a viewing on Thursday, May 4, 2000, to the "En Pointe: The Lives and Legacies of Ballet's Native Americans" exhibit premiere at the National Museum of the American Indian. The left side has a painting of Native Americans doing ballet, and the right side has RSVP options. The postcard is unused, and the address side was pre-addressed to NMAI.
