Summary:
View of the Vertebrate Paleontology exhibit in the new United States National Museum, now the National Museum of Natural History. On exhibit are skeletons of various types of vertebrates including mammals, dinosaurs, and sea-living mammals. In this photograph is the whole skeleton of the sea-living mammal. An Irish elk skelton is on the right. The mural of "Diana of the Tides" can be seen on the rear wall.
