Summary:
A huge steel dome constructed with one inch square steel bars. At the top of the dome is a circular opening through which sunlight shines on the summer solstice. The shadow cast by the sun is surrounded by a circular metal bar embedded in the ground inside the dome. Eight-foot circular openings on the east and west sides of the dome frame the rising and setting sun at the equinoxes. A six-foot circular opening on the north side of the dome frames the North Star.
