Summary:
The mausoleum is adorned along the peak of the roof with a slender architectural element that features at one end a relief carving of an allegorical female figure of Grief resting her right arm and head against an urn, and at the opposite end, a relief carving of Father Time. The front tympanum features a circular relief with a portrait of John Lenthall turned in profile to the right.
