Summary:
The stone is carved in relief with a large eagle with its wings spread, its head turned to the left, and a banner held in its beak. Incised above the eagle's head is the work PRESENTED, and incised on the banner held in its beak is BY THE UNITED AMERICAN MECHANICS. Emblems depicting a compass and a L-shaped square with a G in the middle are carved in relief in the upper left and upper right corners. Emblems of a muscular arm and hand holding a hammer are carved in relief in the lower left and lower right corners. Letters spelling out PENNSYLVANIA are carved in relief below the eagle.
