Summary:
Located in the Reading Room, this mural, one of ten illustrating a Greek festival to a special god, depicts the procession lead by the Master of Ceremonies arriving at the temple on the right and the High Priest seated on his throne flanked by his assistant priests, the Soothsayer, and various prophets on the left. The sacrificial altar burns the sacred fire in front of them and nearby there is the lamb ready for the sacrifice.
