Bust portrait of Mrs. Freer in profile facing to the right, her body in three-quarter profile. She has reddish brown hair gathered on top of her head. She wears a ruffled black lace choker and small drop earrings. Her dress is black with a low square ruffled neckline, a sheer lace bodice, and a sheer lace sleeves. She wears a corsage consisting of a pink rose with greenery on her left shoulder. The background of the painting is light gray with some dark around the figure's shoulders.
