Self-portrait of the artist embodying several emblems and symbols in exploration of his artistic identity. He wears a sleeveless undershirt with an image of crucified Christ superimposed on Atlas, war paint on his face, an earring in his one ear, and tattoos depicting a butterfly, camellia, starfish and naked woman. There is a sailing ship at his chest and a pierced heart at his throat, arrows in his eyes, flowers rooted on one shoulder and a bird perched in a nest on the other. A thunderbolt strikes his forehead and butterflies flutter around his head.
