Summary:
Under a large tree, Chief Powhatan is seen standing in front of his daughter Pocahontas and other seated Powhatan Indians, while Captain John Smith approaches him, holding aloft an English crown. Smith's fellow Englishmen stand behind him, one extracting gifts from a trunk.
