Summary:
Full-length figure of Christopher Columbus stands atop a tapered base. The figure wears a tunic, coat and leggings. He holds a scroll in his proper right hand. His proper left hand rests on a globe which stands on a small pedestal at his side. There is a bas-relief on the front of the base which depicts a ship with sailors.
