Summary:

Christ is embraced by Veronica as he carries the cross. The figures face each other with Christ on the left. His head rests on the proper left shoulder of Veronica and the cross is balanced on his proper left shoulder. Veronica wears a robed garment, and her head is not clearly visible. The figures are about 3/4 life-sized. The sculpture stands on a square base.
