Summary:
Three panel mural. The first panel "Out of Chaos," depicts the "big bang" at left, with first biological mural emerging from center, and dogwood, redwood and magnolia. The second panel shows strength of chlorophyll with clay-cut into center and large blooms of magnolia, hibiscus and wild flowers, and the symbol for DNA, nuclear power, and ATP molecule. The last panel shows the heme molecule clay-cut in center and symbols with concerned people facing energy problems. Among the symbols included are symbols for methane, high octane gas, and the transistor. Children are front and center with flows of genes behind them, and there is a figure with a briefcase.
