Summary:
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is seated on a bench with his proper right arm bent and his hand poised on his proper right knee. His proper left arm holds a Bible at his side. He is wearing a tie. On his shirt is an emblem consisting of "AA" with the Omega sign above it. The bench on which he sits is mounted on a slab base. To the left of the sculpture is a commemorative plaque inset on top of a pink granite block.
