Summary:
Full-length figure of a World War I soldier. He wears a uniform and helmet. In his proper left hand he carries a rifle. In his proper right hand he holds a grenade ready to toss. There are tree stumps on either side of his legs. The bronze sculpture stands on a polished granite base ending in two rough-hewn steps.
