Summary:
Full-length figure of Hippocrates. He wears a toga and sandals. He has a full beard. His proper right hand leans on a tree stump which has a snake wrapped around it. His proper left hand clasps the upper folds of the toga. He looks off to the proper left. The stone sculpture stands on a plinth which in turn rests on a granite base.
