Summary:
Memorial consisting of a large rectangular bed of white crushed stone. An oversized chain, painted yellow, outlines the shape of an airship on the stone bed. Centered inside the chain outline are a series of flat cement slabs inset into the surface. The slabs are laid in a flat pattern resembling the outline of an airship. In the center of the pattern is a granite marker.
