Summary:
Crucifixion scene with Christ on the cross, Mary standing to his proper right, and a young St. John standing at his proper left. Mary wears a hooded robe and bows her head, crossing her hands at her chest in a gesture of grieving. St. John holds his hands down and clasped. The sculpture is installed at the intersection of two walkways and is surrounded by the stations of the cross.
