Summary:
A uniformed Confederate soldier with a moustache stands at parade rest, wearing a knee-length cape, wide-brimmed hat, and belt with bayonet attached on the proper left. He holds his rifle barrel on his proper right side with both hands, the butt resting by his feet. The soldier is mounted upon a shaft decorated on the front with a waving Confederate flag in relief, set upon a multitiered base. The monument is centered within a concrete circle.
