Summary:
Bas-relief panels and medallions decorate the sixth floor level facade of an Art Deco style building. Each building face features a series of three relief panels at each corner, with five circular medallions across the building facade. Scenes depicted include activities related to the occupants of the building: the Army, the Navy, Post Office, Treasury, Commerce, Agriculture, Industry, and Justice. Images include men typing and writing; a judge seated on a bench decorated with the scales of Justice, lawyers, soldiers at war carrying rifles and firing cannons; sailors on a ship's deck; men working in a factory; men working in a bank, including carting money into a vault and using adding machines; and farmers harvesting with tractors.
