Summary:
Figure of a uniformed World War I Doughboy standing at ease, his body weight on the proper right leg, while the proper left leg is slightly forward and bent at the knee. Proper right arm is parallel with the torso, hand holding his rifle, barrel down to the ground. His proper left arm is cocked at the hip, his hand hold a German helmet adjacent to a sword. The soldier is wearing a combat helmet, and he has a canteen attached to his ammunition belt on the rear. The soldier stands against a rocky formation that rises to his thigh, with a foliage decoration beneath him on the top of the base. The sculpture is mounted upon a multitiered base, set on a square platform with bricked siding.
