A bearded St. Francis in ankle-length robes, stands with a bird perched on his balding head. He clutches a cameo, or possibly an animal, to his heart with his proper right hand and leans on the club in his proper left hand. The sculpture is painted white and mounted on a two-tiered, rectangular base.
