Summary:
A barefoot female figure stands with shoulder-length hair, and a drape wrapped around her from her waist to her ankles. She holds an urn in her lowered proper right hand, and is lifting the veil from her eyes with her proper left hand. The sculpture is mounted on a multitiered base, with embellishments and inscriptions. On one side of the base there are reliefs of two torches, one inverted (symbolizing death) and one upright (symbolizing life).
