Summary:
Two bronze figures stand atop a granite exedra bench. The figures include a winged angel with arms outstretched to embrace a soldier. The soldier is dressed in uniform, with helmet, and holds a rifle, with butt end resting on the ground. The figures are mounted in the center of a granite exedra that includes a commemorative text plaque with bronze eagle.
