Summary:
The figure of Jesus crucified upon the cross with three figures at its base. A figure, including at least one woman, is standing on either side of the cross, and another woman is kneeling before it. The figure of Jesus wears a cloth about his hips, and the other figures are all wearing long dresses or robes. The kneeling woman and the figure on the proper left have their hands clasped as if in prayer. Set before the cross is an altar. The altar, cross and figures are painted white, and are sited on a terraced base made of volcanic rocks.
