Summary:
A figure of a Confederate soldier standing wearing a uniform which includes a brimmed hat. He holds the barrel of a rifle in his proper right hand. The butt of the rifle rests on the plinth at his feet. His proper left foot is slightly forward and his proper left arm is down by his side. The soldier stands atop a tall tiered granite base.
