Summary:
A reinforced concrete column mounted on the wall separating the sculpture garden of Yale University School of Art and Architecture Building from the Chapel Street sidewalk. The bottom of the sculpture is U-shaped to fit over the top of the wall; it is fastened in place by steel bolts. Each face of the column is convex. The four corners are chamfered. There are seven elliptical voids in the concrete, graduated in size from the smallest at the top and bottom toward the largest in the center.
