Summary:
A set of bronze figures in relief mounted on exterior building wall. The central portion of the piece depicts two early Kentucky settlers, a man and a woman, surrounded by the wildlife: bears, foxes, deer, birds, etc. Two young boys in the upper right recline on the branches of a tree and watch passing side-wheelers and fish in the river. Figures of tobacco farmers, horses and farm animals appear in the upper left.
