Percy Bernard Eckhart was born in 1877 in Lake Forest, Illinois and died in 1969 in Lake Placid, New York. He studied at the University of Chicago and Harvard Law School. He was a lawyer including being legal counsel for the Art Institute of Chicago, a prolific oil painter and supporter of the arts.

Summary:
Footage documents the May 6, 1937 explosion of the German passenger airship, the Hindenberg, as it landed in Lakehurst Maxwell Field, New Jersey. Film is a home movie version distributed by Castle Films of the newsreel footage shot by Twentieth Century Fox Movietonews. Print has intertitles.
