Collection of 252 educational film distribution prints was given to the HSFA by the Regional Educational Media Center (REMC 2), Michigan in 1994. REMC 2, located in Traverse City, provided media services to public and state recognized private and parochial schools in a 14 county region. Film prints were being phased out of the distribution library.
Summary:
Edited film depicts the life of Evolene, a Swiss mountain village. Through one village family, the viewer is exposed to domestic life, school, recreation, and farm work, including cheese making and tending cows in the pastures. Film was distributed by Encyclopedia Britannica.
