Summary:
Television broadcast created by Hal Linker, with his wife Halla, and son, David. Linkers film a religious festival at Kataragama, Ceylon (Sri Lanka) where hundreds of devotees of the god Kataragama pierce themselves with silver skewers and dance in a trance. Ceremony culminates in ritual firewalking.
