Edited experimental film by Jorge Preloran based on the poem "Holy Sonnet X" (also known as "Death, Be Not Proud") by John Donne. Preloran wrote: "Edited as a sonata in three movements, the film shows the terror of a soldier upon the battle field." The solider is portrayed by actor Tom Skerrit. This film was presented as Preloran's thesis project at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1961.
