Summary:
This accession includes a videotaped interview with Robert McCormick Adams, former Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, titled "Role of Museums in [the] Modern Age." Adams was interviewed by Professor Kazuyoshi Otuka on February 21, 1990. Also included is a videotaped interview with Robert McC. Adams for the "University of the Air" series. This interview first aired on April 30, 1990. [The latter was transferred as Accession 98-090.]
