One of a number of elaborate funerary practices found in Indonesia which publicly mark the social status of the deceased, stone-dragging ceremonies are sponsored by prominent Kodi men while alive to assure themselves a prestigious grave and the enduring renown of a great feast giver. Video documents the symbolic stages in a stone's journey in this tradition of megalithic grave-building.
