Summary:
Edited film, shot in the Nyae-Nyae region of the Kalahari in Namibia, illustrates how male !Kung children learn traditional hunting skills. Young boys throw toy spears into a tree, trying to make them stick in to the bark as a girl looks on. Film is made from footage shot in conjunction with the 1957-1958 expedition supported by the Peabody Museum of Harvard University and the Smithsonian Institution.
