Summary:
Edited film about Ishi, the sole survivor of a small band of Yahi Indians who lived near Oroville, California. Based on the book by Theodora Kroeber. The film details Ishi's life from 1911 when he emerged from his forest refuge in northern California through his stay with the Kroebers, of the University of California Museum of Anthropology, until his death in 1916.
