Sketch by L. Knaus, of Wiesbaden. The effect of light in this small picture is beautiful. It will be of interest to amateurs to know that the famous author of Nos. 93 and 94 made the above composition when only 15 years old. Catalogue of the Rhenish-Belgian Gallery of Paintings, living Belgian and German Masters, exhibiting in the rooms of the National Academy of Design, 668 Broadway, opposite Bond Street, New York. This entire collection of fine pictures, will be sold at Auction, by H.H. Leeds & Co., as above, on Wednesday, October 12th, at eleven a.m., without reserve. On and after Saturday, 8th October, they will be on exhibition free.
