This is one of the finest Pictures in the whole Collection--the Drawing, expression of St. Peter, and Light from the Angel extremely well managed--the whole has a beautiful effect. It was sold, a few years ago, for $10000. Italian Master. [P. 11; full entry reads: "St. Peter in Prison, an Angel from Heaven rescuing him, two Guards, one of them asleep, the other struck with horror and unable to speak."]
